ROOMS

The Capitol Hotel Tokyu’s 251 rooms include 13 suites and are all exceptionally spacious Japanese hotel rooms. The rooms themselves are tastefully finished, drawing on elements of traditional Japanese architectural styles such as shoji paper screens and sliding partitions and combining them with modern furnishings and amenities to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Rooms also feature panoramic views of the Tokyo cityscape, which is equally stunning during the day as it is at night.

FOOD AND DRINK

The Capitol Hotel Tokyu features five restaurants and a bar, with diverse and carefully crafted menus that seek to embrace the spirit of hospitality and commitment to food that epitomised the Hoshigaoka Saryo, an exclusive members-only restaurant that once stood on the site the Capitol Hotel Tokyu now occupies. The Suiren Restaurant features a menu with the best of Japanese cuisine, and the Star Hill Restaurant presents fantastic Chinese cuisine in an elegant and stylish dining setting. In addition, the hotel’s standard restaurant is fantastic, Origami is open all day every day, the boutique pastry shop is ideal for a quick snack and the Capitol Bar provides a great location to relax with a drink after a long day.

LOCATION

The Capitol Hotel bills itself as “a haven for relaxation so near, yet so far, from the hustle and bustle of the city”, an accurate description given the hotel’s location in the heart of Tokyo, a short walk from the Imperial Palace at the National Diet Building. The hotel is located on top of four subway lines, with access to the subway on floor B2 of the hotel, streamlining guests’ ability to travel around Tokyo.
